Dorset Art Weeks 2021: Journeys across sea, land and time, with a jazz beat

Dorset Art Weeks – the two week open-studio festival of Dorset artists – is back this week. And I am delighted to be taking part. 

It’s been three years since the last Dorset Art Weeks, after last year’s was cancelled due to Covid. 

I’ll be exhibiting a series of new paintings I created during the lockdown year. These include some of my brightest, most vibrant works celebrating big band jazz and a series of timescapes reflecting the patterns worn by time and the elements on stone. 

I have also been evolving my abstract landscapes, with works inspired by the Dorset coast and field lines.

As well as original framed works, I also have a selection of prints and a wide range of greetings cards.
